South Korea has announced Carbon Neutrality 2050 with a goal to reduce carbon emissions by 40% in 2030 compared to 2018, with zero emissions in 2050. It is important, therefore, to let students know how serious climate change is affecting us and what must be done.

Join carbon reducing challenges and practices

Net Zero School is an eco-friendly platform where students learn the need for reducing carbon emissions through various challenge and practice programs, games and social network. Students are encouraged to sign a carbon pledge to promote a sense of responsibility and belonging. Carbon steps, achievement, ranking and points are also given. The 24 challenges include energy saving, recycling, using public transport, good diet, picking up trash and tree planting. Students can take photos of their activities to upload on the feed to receive points.

At Net Zero School, students can watch pollution-related videos, and read articles, webtoon and carbon knowledge encyclopedia. The encyclopedia is made jointly by Korea University Environmental Epidemiology Lab and Doodler and it contains 12 core concepts about environment. Group activities of a school is also possible by building a LMS system which makes teachers manage the programs easy and simple.
