Hanul Speech shines by winning 2021 Korea Future Management Awards in innovative psychology consultation

(PowerKorea) A speech impediment is caused from various reasons: mental retardation, hearing difficulty, psychological instability and many more. The symptom appears more to children than adults and appropriate measures should better take place earliest possible. 

Hanul Speech has built its recognition in the field of language therapy through a number of effective therapeutic programs themed on language, art, playing, developmental and social activities, group speech, fairytale and psychology consultation.

Jinyoung Choi, Director of Hanul Speech, has 16 years of expertise as a language therapist and has been undertaking a number of government led projects relating to language development and therapy. Her lecture and programs cover not only children with language impediment but also their parents and children institutions. 

Choi settled down in Sejong City after marriage and started engaging in projects of Sejong City Office of Education as a multicultural children’s psychology consultant. Expanding her scope of services to the northern part of the city where children in need were more than other parts of the city, she felt the need to introduce a professional language therapy center in the area which she named Hanul Speech. 

Hanul Speech ran various language therapy programs and developed and published educational materials. Recognizing its effectiveness, three companies offered a deal. The materials contain after school programs that helps children with emotional development. Seeing its effectiveness, Choi is reinterpreting traditional Korean plays into the need of children today while embracing psychology consultation with language therapy.
