A respected American educator Parker J. Palmer said that we deny our true-self if we think we are an element of the society which is the reason we delude ourselves as true-selves by the acts such as winning the competition, over spending, sexual discrimination and racial discrimination from which irrationality is born that destroy ethical living in our society.

A South Korean educator and a poet Younghee Oh said that true-self is found when the one marches forward towards ‘next me’ from ‘being me’. Oh explains ‘Being me’ is one’s identity such as unique feeling, thoughts and actions and it is the state to move on to ‘next me’.

From ‘being me’ comes from self-respect and confidence. Therefore, she adds, the one who with ‘truly being me’ sails towards visions and creates a new path. All the people on earth, she suggests, are in the course of walking the life and this is but the true vision.

Nestled in Daegu, Nadaeum Education is an education company specialized in career vision and coaching. Some of the core programs are 1) career design 2) global citizen education 3) middle aged and senior career 4) reading 5) dream coaching 6) value of failing 7) communication 8) poem recital 9) being me concert 10) book concert.

“To find a right vision and career path, one must understand about oneself. In other words, we must be ‘being me’ first. Poem recital especially is helpful when it comes to this.” says Oh.

Vision comes from being me
Being me leads to next me and
This cycle changes the world.
