Nestled near Gangnam Station Seoul, Kim Mee Geong Flower has run the business for 23 years and recently won Flower Shop at the 2024 Innovation Winner. “I’ve been running a flower shop in Gangnam for 23 years, and I have many regular and foreign customers, and I always make flowers with a heart of gratitude” says Kim. Despite the small space, Kim has an abundance of flowers and potted plants, and she customizes bouquets to suit the tastes, ages, and uses according to each customer. The shop is filled with cute succulents, orchids, fresh, preserved, and soapy flowers, and a wide variety of plants and pots to suit your taste.

“Many people come to my shop to give flowers as gifts, so I make custom flowers. The mood of the flowers changes depending on the type and color. While I’m making the flowers, my customers are also present and I give the flowers a story to add happiness and emotion. I think this kindness and sincerity is conveyed to my customers, which is why my shop has been loved by them for over 20 years” says Kim.

Winning Flower Shop at 2024 Innovation Winner
Kim was invited to participate in the 2008 Seoul Design Olympics and was selected as the best company in the Gangnam-gu area in the Living/Leisure Flower Shop category in the 2023 Korea Consumer Industry Assessment. This year, Kim won the 2024 Innovation Winner in the Flower Shop category, further enhancing the brand’s value.
