Elantra N TCR wins 2022 WTCR World Touring Car Cup
Hyundai Motor’s Elantra N TCR won the 2022 WTCR World Touring Car Cup held in Alcaniz, Spain, in June 25 and 26. Elantra beat Audi RS3 LMS, Honda Civic TCR, Cupra Leon Competición and Lynk & Co 03 TCR. Riding on the Elantra, Mikel Azcona passed the finish line at 27 minutes and 31.604 seconds, earning 25 points at the second race. Combining the 19 points earned by 4th in rank at the first race, it added to a total 44 points with 129 accumulated points in driving. 2022 WTCR World Touring Car Cup is one of the three globally recognized car racings alongside Forumula1 and WRC. 2022 WTCR World Touring Car Cup is being held in 9 countries and the winners must earn high scores in two races in each event and in 20 races in total to be the final winner of the year.
Hyundai Motor signs MOU with Korea Enterprises Federation
Hyundai Motor announced July 1 that it signed a MOU with the Korea Enterprises Federation. The MOU is expected to form an advisory panel consisted of experts in the 5 fields of organization and manpower, budget, training, management-labor relations, and safety and activities. The advisory will carry out studies on excellent cases of safety management home and abroad and build comprehensive plans and measures. It is the first time that a private company signed a MOU with an economic organization in the nation and Hyundai Motor aims to build the global level safety management system through the MOU and the advisory panel. <PowerKorea>
