Hanjoong Fundamental Industry in Ulju County, Ulsan City, is a farming and construction machinery company. CEO Dukbong Song has devoted 30 years of his life to development, production and supply of machinery and equipment needed for farming irrigation canals and built trust and recognition from his clients.
With technical support from the Korea Rural Community Corporation and the Korea Farming Land Improvement Association, Hanjoong focused on irrigation canal water gate tech. It is a great feat that the company received from the corporation and the association the patented 'green-b monolithic turn out'.
"Green-b monolithic turn out is erosion-free and assemble-friendly and has the same position rotating handle for smooth and faster opening and shutting. It is made for cut off type, blowhole type and collecting type according to its main purpose and usage and they are treated with anchor bolt, backstitch, watertight sheet and watertight silicon. All parts are delivered nationwide on receiving orders" says Song.
All machinery and equipment sold at Hanjoong are standardized, easy to install and operate, nearly zero repair needed, and semi-permanently used according to Song.
The smart emergency water gate developed April 2020 especially helps farmers block chemical leakages, for example, from nearby factories getting into the canals and damage grains. Because it is smart, you can control the gate with your smartphone. It has excellent watertightness and is made of erosion-resistant materials such as MC nylon and EPDM. The change of the gate is easy and installation is simple and fast.
The green-b water supply switch, on the other hand, is made with rust-free and fire-resistant materials. Because it is lighter than steel but stronger yet, installation is easy and can be used semi-permanently. It also saves water by 30% when using this gate.
The green-b cross windlass is another pride of Hanjoong. It is made of stainless, zinc mixed materials and engineering plastic to prevent erosion. It is loaded with a decelerator that helps handling the gate smooth and easy and a circular cap that prevents water and dust coming in. It also is designed easy for opening and shutting of the gate. It is light, install-easy and semi-permanent.
Hanjoong won the 2020 Quality Satisfaction Index 1 & Technological Innovation Award. Some of its notable clients are Ulsan Aluminium, SK Energy, Cosmochem, Isu Chemical, Hankuk Paper, Seojin Chemical, Iksan OCI and Korea Petrochemical.
