KOTRA supports export of products of small and medium enterprises

KOTRA, the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, and the Small Enterprise and Market Service signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on October 1 at the Small Enterprise Export Center to provide support for small and medium enterprises to sell their products overseas. The MOU includes 1) finding and support of promising small and medium companies 2) running customized on/offline export support programs 3) training and consulting and 4) marketing and fund. KOREA launched the Small Enterprise Export Center in the SME headquarters last March and has been providing support to 546 small and medium sized companies. KOTRA also is using the 127 KOTRA global networks to find overseas buyers and provide matching services.

KOTRA joins hands with KBIA for K-battery

KOTRA and the Korea Battery Industry Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on October 17 at the association headquarters to expand global markets for Korean battery companies. The MOU includes 1) customized marketing 2) region by region overseas market trend 3) finding overseas suppliers of secondary battery and 4) human resource. Also included is to link the InterBattery exhibition to regular export conferences for prompt finding and matching services between buyers and companies. KOTRA Chairman Jeongyeol Yoo said “The secondary battery is one of the core parts of eco-friendly and digital industries and the MOU will provide more systematic support for South Korean battery companies.” (PowerKorea)
