Sometimes building personal and professional connections can play everything in business. If paper business card and phone number were the two common way of doing this, social media platforms are taking over the role today.

Jeje Comms is a South Korean startup famous for introducing mobile business card SHIFT in 2019. SHIFT gathers information of registered business cards and the big data analyzes it and pops up relevant connections that might be of interest to each user. It is multilingual and users can build connections with the people in the world.

SHIFT is designed super easy that even a schoolchild can make it with a smart phone within a minute. SHIFT updates the phone number in real time if anyone changes the number. Recommendations are made as private, group, biographical and company, and the information of marketing, bulletin, schedules, and joining and leaving the company come along for uses to be noted for future reference. Companies can upload key-words on the admin page and users can type in search words so that they can directly find out their needs and wants.

As of 2020, Jeje Comms is running SHIFT in South Korea, Vietnam and Australia. The number of download is 6:4 respectively in South Korea and the other two. Kim Jun-kang, CEO of Jeje Comms, is to start providing Chinese and Japanese in addition to Korean, English and Vietnamese within the first half of the year but he is more ambitious to provide the services to the whole world by the end of the year.

Jeje Comms has won the 2021 Korea Brilliant People & Brand Awards in the category of global human resource platforms. PowerKorea.
