Outbreak of the COVID-19 is booming the mask and hand sanitizer industries. It is hard to find people without a mask on their half of the face and hand sanitizers are put on entrance and elevator of almost all buildings.
Normally, we use hand sanitizer by pressing the pump of the bottle to get the jelly-like liquid on our hands to rub. But some people find it bothersome when they have a bag or luggage to hold. Thus introduced is Covi Clean, a foot-press stand type hand sanitizer.
Covi Clean, the brainchild of the South Korean hand sanitizer company Solarin, is offered at two types: foot-press type and palm scan type. The foot-press type lets out the liquid if you press the knob with your foot and the palm scan type does the same when you scan your palm in the air for a sensor to detect and lets out the liquid.
No electricity needed for the foot-press type as a 500ml bottle on top of the device lasts around 500 times. The sensor type, on the other hand, accommodates a huge 5L bottle which lasts around 5,000 times.
Those who have tried Covi Clean testified: ‘practical’, ‘easy’, ‘such an idea’, ‘perfect un-tact product’ and ‘simple design’.
The patented Covi Clean has been praised at the 2020 Seoul Excellence Awards and at the 2020 Korea National & Social Contribution Awards.
