Shops are close, sales hit the bottom, streets are empty and manufacturing is staggering. The whole industry and economy seem to halt. But life goes on and so does things. Regardless who they are, whether companies or individuals, help and encouragement are pouring in, touching the hearts of those who fight the virus forefront and who hit the most.
Samsung offered a training center to be used as a temporary ward alongside tens of millions of dollars of donation which are being joined by NCSOFT, Nexon, Naver, Netmarble, Coway, Korea Medical Association, E-Land Group, DGB Daegu Bank, e-mark, and many more as well as rows and rows of celebrities and individual citizens of the nation.
Encouragement messages are pouring on social networks with hash tags such as #cheerupdaegu #cheerupgyengbuk, etc, while good hearted building owners joined the Good Landlord Movement to cut half of the monthly rent or free for struggling store business owners. The government and the National Assembly passed the 3 Acts for COVID-19 and a supplementary budget of around 11 trillion won ($9.2 billion).
Monthly biz and culture magazine <PowerKorea> also would like to send thanks and encouragement to the devoted, to those hit by the most and to those good hearted.
