Samil Grindstone MFG is a South Korean company that makes resinoid grinding stones. Years of passion and precision in the field has brought the company a pride of the patented ‘Kanuto Fiberglass Mesh (KFM)’ in 2018 that has significantly improved strength of the existing grinding stones.
For the last 4 years, Samil Grindstone has made greater advancements in ceramic processing and precision grinding stones in cooperation with the Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology and has obtained 4 patents.
Seungyong Choi, CEO of Samil Grindstone MFG, served as the vice president of the South Korea’s largest dusk mask maker before establishing the current grinding stone company. The topnotch grinding stone lines of Samil Grindstone are being highly demanded from ship building, construction and car industries, the fact the company proved its excellence in the field.
In recognition, Samil Grindstone MFG received a prize from the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency at the Innovation Winner 2019 hosted by the Herald Group and managed by monthly <PowerKorea>.
