대한민국 스마트폰 사용률 91%!

4차 산업혁명 시대의 개막은 우리 생활 방식에 수많은 변화를 가져다 주었다. 스마트폰을 비롯한 사물인터넷(Iot), VR콘텐츠의 확산으로 앞으로는 인터넷에 연결된 기기가 2026년 최대 20억 개로 늘어날 것으로 점쳐지고 있으며 5세대(5g) 이동통신 사용화로 모바일 최대 전송속도는 30Gbps에 이를 것으로 예상된다. 인공지능(AI), 빅데이터, 커넥티드카 등도 구체화되기 시작하면서 실체가 모호하던 미래 생활상이 점점 윤곽을 잡아가고 있는 중이다. 말 그대로 초연결시대인 4차 산업시대인것이다. 이러한 시대에, 월간 파워코리아는 SNS전문가 이백배 대표를 만나, 효과적인 SNS마케팅을 위해서 무엇을 갖춰야 하는지를 물었다.

SNS 교육으로 세대간의 소통을 이루다
간단한 업무는 인공지능이 대체하는 시대, 이제는 스마트폰을 활용하여 스스로 정보를 캐치하고 개인의 고민을 해결하는 풍경은 더 이상 낯선 풍경이 아니다. 그러나 다소 디지털기기에 익숙하지 않은 시니어(Senior)세대들에겐 쉽게 적응하기 힘든 어려운 숙제이기도 하다. 이러한 가운데 4차 산업혁명 연구원이자 네이버 블로그 ‘이백배와 함께하는 스마트폰활용지도사’(누적 방문자수 50만명)를 운영하며 인기 블로거로 활동하고 있는 이백배 대표는 스마트폰을 활용한 모든 능력을 향상시키고 ‘마케팅 및 SNS 소통 방법’을 키워드로 세대간 소통을 위한 스마트폰 활용 교육에 집중하고 있어, 많은 이들의 주목을 받고 있다. 
명동에서 2회의 걸쳐 스마트폰 활용능력과, SNS활용능력, 블로그 마케팅에 대하여 강의를 하고 있다. 본지 기자가 찾아본 강연장에서 열정적인 수강생들과 이백배 교수는 어느 강의장보다 뜨겁고 열정적이였다.

스마트폰 활용 전문인을 양성하고 능력을 배양한다 

현재, 스마트폰 활용 지도사 1, 2급 민간 자격증 획득과정 교육을 하며 기업체 특강 및 고려대 평생교육원 소셜미디어 강사로 출강하고 있는 이백배 대표는 어린 시절부터 컴퓨터와 인터넷에 관심이 많았다고 본지에 밝혔다. 늘 관심을 갖고 꾸준히 공부를 해오던 찰나, 현 시대에 스마트폰과 인터넷이 급격하게 자리잡으면서 본격적으로 교육업계에 뛰어들게 된 것이다. 
 보통 수강생들의 연령대가 50~60대이다. 왕성한 경제활동을 하는 나이이지만  젊은 새대 보다는 스마트폰 활용능력이 비교적 떨어지는 수강생들이 많다.
이 대표는 “소셜미디어를 통한 비즈니스 및 홍보마케팅, 소셜미디어를 통한 세대간 갈등해소를 기본으로 스마트폰 활용지도사 양성을 통하여 스마트폰 활용을 하지 못해, 현대사회에서 뒤처지는 이들을 교육하는 것이 저의 역할입니다”라고 밝혔다. 그의 교육내용은 다채롭다. 가장 기본적으로 이메일 계정을 설정하는 것부터 어플을 관리하고 카카오톡을 활용하는 점들을 알기 쉽게 설명해주는 것 부터 4차산업의 비즈니스 생태계와 전자화폐에 까지 다양하기에 여러기관이나 단체해서 강연을 요청하는 곳들도 많다. 
이 대표는 “SNS를 통해 쏟아지는 정보 속에서 옳고 그른 정보를 분별하는 능력이 부족한 요즘인 것 같습니다.  블로그/홍보/SNS및 스마트폰 활용 전문가로서 저는 청중들의 능력을 배양하고, 자격증을 통한 강사양성에 더욱 힘을 쏟도록 하겠습니다”라고 밝혔다.

Smart phones, AI, big data and connected cars are no longer the terms we are unfamiliar with. Not many would doubt of the coming ultra-connected age of the 4th Industrial Revolution today. Naturally, marketing has turned its course to SNS at large as 91% of the people in Korea alone are depending on their own smart phone to carry out necessary communications and transactions. As the importance of SNS PR is ever increasing, a SNS marketing specialist Lee Baek-bae also is rising as one of the top educators in the field. Lee’s Naver blog has drawn whacking 500,000 visitors since opening and he has been offering his professional knowledge and knowhow on SNS marketing. In his two offline lectures held in Myeong-dong, Seoul, Lee delivered his knowhow in passion that drew a number of explosive responses from the audience. His professional skill being recognized, Lee is running two courses designed for first and second grade smart phone marketing certificates alongside his special invitation lectures on social media at Korea University Lifelong Learning Center. Lee has had an exceptional interest and talent in computer and internet since he was a child based on which he has developed his knowledge and teaching skills in smart devices. Many of the audience of Lee are in their 50s and 60s who are rather behind of their younger counterparts in using smart devices. “I mainly focus on three things: business, marketing and social media in terms of technique but more on the importance of communication between the generations in terms of philosophy” says Lee. The areas of his lectures cover many parts from setting up an email address to advanced business platform and transactions that are required in the coming 4th Industrial Revolution. For this reason, he is being called from many organizations and companies. This also ascribes to his easy yet effective way of teaching.
